Communication [RESOLVED - please see last post]

In order to ensure a place that is accepting and free-thinking, we must hold true the ideal, with the same purity as in an ideal online chat or message board.
We must be willing to accept claims without the outright need for sources, though they always help. We must be willing to sit tight while someone else explains away their theories, thoughts or insights without the outright need to interrupt or interject with our own ideas. We must be accepting of all thoughts, and calmly assert our position after they have presented their case, as in a message board, where you are forced to read their post before posting yourself.
This is a thread to discuss how communication and the trading of ideas should be done throughout the project, as this is very important.

I don't agree with this. There are very few claims that we should accept with no sources, and they are things like "I'm feeling fine," and "My name is Bob."
We are a mostly logic based society, please don't misunderstand with /x/. The /x/ board is affiliated because we plan to bring a science spin to /x/, if that makes sense. Instead of blindly believing, it's been theorized that a few members might be willingly to go "ghost hunting," looking for answers. A few prospective areas for location were considered simply because they were near hotspots.

And though I disagree with your first statement, this is how things plan to be run, with logical minds, and a cool head.
